this quote encorages people to stop waiting for thier own happiness and start living in the now. the quote starts off by listing things that people wait for such a weekends, success, love, and the "better" life. it talks about how happiness wont happen in the future if you dont try in the present, happiness doesnt just come to you, you have to work for it in the present for it to happen in the future. for me this quote reminds me of my own experiences with anxiety. my anxiety often makes me stress over tiny things, repeat and replay things in my head over and over, and makes me worry about my future. because of this i often wait alot, to feel better, more confident, and in control over things and my thoughts. this has caused me to miss out on a large amount of experiences, opportunities, and being able to enojy things to thier fullest extent
